IV Laser Light Therapy

Intravenous laser application is a device-based method in which low-level laser light is delivered through a vein. Sessions are typically performed at low power levels (approximately 1–5 mW), and the duration of a session generally ranges between 20 and 60 minutes.

During the procedure, a small cannula is placed in an appropriate vein and the laser energy is delivered through the intravenous line. The number of sessions and frequency of applications are planned according to individual assessment, and in some programs sessions may be scheduled at regular intervals.

Intravenous laser applications are among device-based approaches that have been explored within certain health and wellness programs. The content of the application, session planning, and suitability are determined by healthcare professionals following an individual evaluation.
